How Noor Sons Grew Into a Certified Global Exporter
The Root of Noor Sons
Shireen Leather was founded in 1992 as the group’s raw material backbone sourcing cowhide, goatskin, and sheep skins from Russia, Somalia, Korea, and China. Today, Shireen Leather supplies nearly all of Noor Sons’ leather needs in-house, importing tanning chemicals from Italy and Germany to ensure consistent grain quality across every glove line.
Noor Sons Glove Manufacturing Begins
In 2006, Noor Sons launched its dedicated safety glove manufacturing unit built directly on Shireen Leather’s in-house raw material supply. Cutting, stitching, and quality control all under one roof in Karachi. Initial product range covered welding gloves and general-purpose leather work gloves for industrial buyers.
Noor Sons Completes Its Supply Chain
To give Noor Sons full in-house control over finished leather quality, Hamid Leather was established in 2009 as the group’s grain and finishing unit. Hamid Leather handles dyeing, buffing, and finishing enabling Noor Sons to control leather quality from raw hide to finished glove without any external supplier dependency.
ISO Certified + EU Type-Examination
Noor Sons achieved ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) certification through Assess International Canada. EU Type-Examination certificates were issued by CIMAC (Notified Body #0171) and Intertek (Notified Body #2575) for welding and mechanical-risk glove lines — enabling fully compliant export to US and EU markets under buyers’ private labels.
